Velo by Albor Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Velo, operated by Albor ("Velo", "we", "us"), collects, uses and protects information when you use the Velo website and application.
1. Information Velo collects
- Account data: name, email address and workspace details you provide when you sign up.
- Content you upload or create: images, videos, captions, product information and references you add to Velo.
- TikTok account data (only if you connect TikTok): account ID, display name and avatar; your public videos and their metrics when you grant video read access. If you also grant profile or statistics access, we may receive your username and follower count. We store encrypted access tokens to maintain the connection.
- Payment data: processed by our payment provider (Stripe). Velo does not store full card numbers.
- Usage data: technical logs such as IP address, browser type and actions taken in the app, used for security and reliability.
2. How Velo uses information
- To provide the service: create content and organize posts. A read-only TikTok connection identifies your account and retrieves metrics for your published posts. Sending drafts or publishing through TikTok requires separate posting permission and your choice of a connected posting mode.
- To show you performance of your published content inside Velo, using an exact post link or ID when available.
- To secure the service, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
- To contact you about your account and important service changes.
Velo does not sell your personal information and does not use your TikTok data for advertising.
We use PostHog to analyse website and product usage. Landing-page analytics stay in memory without analytics cookies. We use the visitor's IP address temporarily to determine their country, such as Brazil or the United States, then discard the IP before storing the analytics event. These analytics retain the country, not the IP address or more detailed location. After sign-in we use your internal user ID, never your email in event properties.
3. Sharing
Velo shares information only with service providers needed to run the product (hosting, database, payment processing and AI generation providers), under confidentiality obligations, and with TikTok when you choose a connected posting mode. We may disclose information if required by law.
4. Storage and security
Data is stored with reputable cloud providers. Access tokens for connected accounts are stored securely and used only to perform actions you authorize. Each workspace's data is isolated from other workspaces.
5. Retention and deletion
Velo keeps your data while your account is active. You can revoke Velo's access in your TikTok app settings; we then stop accessing your TikTok account. To request removal of TikTok data stored byVelo, or to delete your account and associated data, email alborapps@gmail.com. We complete deletion requests within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep certain records.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under Brazil's LGPD and the EU/UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
7. Children
Velo is intended for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18.
8. Changes
We may update this Velo Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version.
